If you are eligible, you will receive an email from HRconnect to enroll yourself and your eligible dependent(s). You will have 31 days to enroll. If you do not take action, you will be enrolled in a minimum level of benefits for yourself only.
Kaiser Permanente (KP) is committed to providing comprehensive employment screening and verification on all applicants receiving conditional offers of employment pursuant to applicable laws and statutes. Final confirmation of your offer and start date will be contingent upon timely completion, submission, and/or successful clearance of applicable pre-employment requirements. - Upon acceptance of this offer (either verbal or electronic acceptance), you will receive a time-sensitive email with important legal notices and specific instructions relating to actions you must take to complete the conditions associated with this offer. This will include:
- Review All Background Screening Disclosures – Review and download copies of separate and stand-alone background screen legal disclosures before completing your employment application.
- Complete Your Employment Application – Submit the remaining portions of your Employment Application, including an authorization for a background screen, within 1 business day of receipt of the communication.
You will be contacted by a Talent Acquisition representative with further instructions regarding other notices and requirements including the following:
- Form I-9 - A federally required employment eligibility form to verify employment authorization in the United States. Maintenance of your employment eligibility is your responsibility. We participate in the electronic employment verification program, E-Verify.
- Health Screen - All employees, including remote workers, are required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 unless granted a medical or religious exemption. Fully vaccinated means 2 weeks after receipt of the second dose in a 2-dose vaccination series (Pfizer and Moderna vaccines) or receipt of a single-dose vaccine (Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine). There may also be a COVID-19 vaccine booster requirement depending on where you work.
- Other health screening and immunizations are required depending on patient contact, job role, and/or work location.
- New Hire Paperwork, if applicable - Additional pre-employment paperwork may be required to complete prior to your start date.
- Credentialing, if applicable - Positions providing patient care services may be required to successfully complete the credentialing and privileging process.

Employment with Kaiser Permanente is "at will," meaning that either you or the organization may terminate your employment at any time and for any reason, with or without cause or advance notice, except as may be modified by an applicable collective bargaining agreement.
